Not if it is done correctly. I adjust the pressure settings based on the material I am cleaning. For block paving, the main thing is to replace the jointing sand once the wash is finished. This keeps the blocks locked together and prevents them from shifting. I always include re-sanding in my quotes for block paving jobs.
